UTMOST CARE IN MANUFACTURING.
SF3 biphasic dental implants are manufactured with materials, machinery, and processes refined over time and aimed at implants comparable in every respect with those of the world’s best brands.
Mechanical precision is an indicator of implant quality: SF3s comply with the EC 93/42 standard’s requirements and meet even more demanding criteria. For example:
– they guarantee a tolerance of 5 microns on the hexagon measurement, making the fit between implant and prosthetic parts extremely precise.
– the female hexagonal connection inside the implant or screw head has no traces of the tool used to pre-drill the connection. A unique technique called ‘integral broach’ has a clear advantage: a female hexagon with perfectly flat faces offers maximum stability and absolute precision in the coupling with the prosthetic part.
– The titanium used is of the highest quality, certified for medical use and from North America.

TREATMENTS.
SF3 two-phase plants undergo treatments that improve their functionality:
– sandblasting+acidising: a treatment that traditionally makes the plants more efficient.
– SL treatment: the sandblasting and acid-etching phases are carried out using different elements and techniques from the traditional ones, with excellent results comparable to the “SLA™” treatments used by the most prestigious international brands.
– DM treatment: does not include the sandblasting stage, replaced by repeated surface etching.

QUALITY CONTROL, DECONTAMINATION AND STERILISATION.
Special attention is paid to the decontamination and sterilization phases during the production of SF plants to offer safe and reliable plants.
Quality control is also strict and accurate and is carried out on samples and batches to ensure flawless production.

PACKAGING.
Each SF3 biphasic implant is individually packaged in double packaging:
– an ampoule containing the implant.
– a package containing the ampoule.
The double packaging ensures quality, maintaining sterile conditions and preserving the implant over time and during transport.
A further guarantee is that each implant is placed in the ampoule inside the clean room, under the laminar flow hood, to maintain absolute cleanliness until the ampoule is hermetically sealed with the cap.
A removable label on the outer packaging carries the product code and description, the production batch number, the expiry date, the manufacturer’s name, and the symbolism according to EC Directive 42/93.
